	New I-Command Instruments for Evinrude® E-TEC^TM Evinrude announced a new line of digital engine gauges, the I-Command Instruments for use with their E-TEC outboard motors. The I-Command instrumentation uses a National Marine Electronics Association NMEA-2000™ standard for its underlying data communication protocols. The I-Command Instrumentation can display engine data on combination gauges or on dedicated individual gauges. icommandhomepage By using a Speedometer and Tachometer display, you can see: -RPM -MPH -Battery Voltage -Fuel Level -Engine Trim Angle -Oil Level -Water Pressure -Engine Temperature -Engine Hours -Engine Diagnostics -Fuel Flow Rate -Crankshaft Speed -Atmospheric Barometric Pressure You can also use individual gauges as desired to display the data. The I-Command plug and play technology is based on the NMEA 2000^TM standard, permitting a simpler and faster transfer of information from engine and boat sensors. This means multiple electronics like a NMEA 2000 LOWRANCE GPS or Fish Locator can be easily added to the network.
