How to Find the “shaft Length” of your boat or motor.

The boat determines the length required. The boat owner does not determine shaft length. The higher transoms increase the load carrying ability of the boat. It does not represent the distance the motor extends below the bottom of the boat. This is an approximate distance and may vary from 1”-2” from the nominal value.
